Position Overview

The purpose of this position is to move finished product out of the terminal in a timely, cost-effective and safe manner.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work place exams and housekeeping. Perform duties to ensure proper appearance of facility, including, general cleanliness, landscaping and janitorial duties.
  • Coordinating truck deliveries. Load customer trucks and arrange for delivery of product, and monitor the load out of product to customers
  • Generate bills of lading for truck loading.
  • Assist the Shipping Supervisor with day-to-day office activities and other special projects.
  • Daily reconciliation of shipping reports
  • Physically maintain and repair equipment and facilities through preventative maintenance and work in conjunction with the Maintenance and Electrical personnel.
  • To coordinate with the Control Room customer trucks for loading
  • Completing all required departmental data logging and reports
  • Support the short and long term goals set by management. Supports public and private decisions and/or policies of plant and the Company.
  • To serve as a role model in the area of leadership, teamwork, customer

 

Education

High School Graduate, GED, or Trade School

 

Qualifications

  • 1 Year related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education, skills, abilities and experience

 

Requirements

  •  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
