About the role

 

We're currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Workplanner/Draftsman to join out team based in Buggenhout, Belgium.

 

Main responsibilities

 

In this role you'll:

 

  • Support our Sales team; drawing up quotations and following up on them via our ERP system.
  • Correctly estimate the capacities and strengths of our production capabilities and the limits of the machine tools.
  • Engage with our network of contractors and suppliers to enable you to always present the best solution to our customers.
  • Work with our project leaders and draughtsmen to provide our customers with practical advice.
  • Maintain close contacts with both external parties (customers, subcontractors, etc.) and internal parties (employees).

 

Experience & qualifications

 

To be successful in this role you'll need:

 

  • To have a technical education at Bachelor level, preferably in mechanics or electromechanics.
  • Previous experience in a similar position 
  • Demonstrable experience with Autocad and Solid Works
  • Exposure to the operation of a Laser Robotics in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of preparing designs to enter into production 
  • Experience of price calculations and the preparation of quotations.
  • Exposure to metal manufacturing processes
  • Developed technical insight in a similar manufacturing environment
  • A continuous strive for accuracy
  • To be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
