CRH Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) is a strategic division within the company that encompasses a diverse portfolio of operations and business in the Eastern region. Comprising markets Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Germany and Switzerland, the CEE region plays a crucial role in CRH’s global presence and growth strategy.

 

Reporting to the Finance & BI Manager, this role will support the transformation of financial and business reporting across Polish operating companies through the development of BI solutions, reporting automation and practical AI-enabled use cases. Qlik Sense will be the primary BI platform, while Power BI will be used selectively as a supporting tool where relevant.

Your responsibilities

  • Research, capture and translate reporting requirements across finance and other business functions
  • Design, build and enhance reports, dashboards and applications in Qlik Sense for a range of business users
  • Support the automation of reporting, data refresh and report distribution, including the use of Qlik NPrinting or comparable solutions
  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives by implementing automated reporting across divisions and departments
  • Identify, test and support practical AI use cases in reporting
  • Validate data, reconcile outputs and ensure consistency of reporting logic, KPIs and definitions
  • Work with various departments, data owners and system users to integrate and improve data sources used in reporting
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the central Qlik Sense environment
  • Co-operate with external contractors and internal stakeholders on BI and reporting transformation projects
  • Promote reporting standardisation, user-friendly design and self-service analytics across Polish operating companies

 

Our requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or Computer Science
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in BI, reporting or analytics roles, preferably within finance, controlling or performance reporting
  • Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense as the primary BI tool
  • Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into practical reporting solutions
  • Ability to analyse and validate large volumes of data and turn them into clear, actionable business information
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
  • Ability to structure and communicate ideas clearly, concisely and persuasively to different stakeholder groups
  • Experience in working with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting change implementation
  • Advanced English

 

Optional

  • Experience with Qlik NPrinting
  • Experience in supporting or administering Qlik Sense environments, including QMC
  • Working knowledge of Power BI as a supporting reporting tool
  • Exposure to AI-enabled reporting or analytics use cases
  • Experience in finance transformation, digitalisation or automation projects
  • Experience working with financial systems, ERP data or FP&A processes
