Job Summary
We are currently seeking candidates to deliver concrete products via flatbeds to jobsites.
Job Responsibilities
- Ability to safely operate various pieces of heavy equipment, including a forklift to load flatbeds.
- Transport concrete products to jobsites.
- Lubricate and perform general maintenance on the equipment.
- Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers.
- Obeying and following all applicable traffic laws, rules, and regulations.
- Securing cargo, and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
- Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Performing pre and post-trip vehicle inspection reports.
- Reporting any defects, accidents, or violations.
- Verifying loads for accuracy and proper information on tickets.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times.
- Strict adherence to all Safety Practices & Procedures, including company policies and procedures as outlined in the book of company policies.
- Individuals are required to wear PPE
- Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- CDL – Class A License with Air Brake Endorsement
- Ability to operate a manual 13 speed
- Clean driving record
- At least 1 year of driving experience
