Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to join our Hydro Services business. This is a key leadership role that will partner with the Services Leadership Team, driving performance, supporting strategic growth initiatives and ensuring robust financial governance across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
As Senior Finance Manager, you will:
- Lead all financial activities for the Services business, providing insight and challenge to support growth and value creation.
- Own and continuously improve financial controls and governance, ensuring balance sheet integrity.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting with meaningful analysis and performance insights.
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, challenging assumptions and driving accountability.
- Support statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit activities.
- Partner with senior business leaders to drive financial performance and informed decision-making.
- Lead the development of business cases for capital expenditure and investment opportunities.
- Act as a key finance advisor during business-wide ERP implementation projects.
- Manage and develop a Management Accountant, fostering a high-performing finance team.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Brings a strong financial accounting background and excellent technical expertise.
- Has experience driving business performance through insightful financial reporting and analysis.
- Is confident influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities.
- Possesses excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Has strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, Power BI and Microsoft Office applications.
