Position Overview:

We are looking for a procurement professional, who is well experienced supply chain management.  Candidate will take part in procurement activities including but not limited to awarding of procurement contracts. This role requires a considerable level of commitment and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the needs and requirements of the company.

  • Execute the strategies of regional categories as well as procurement activities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure that the supply is in harmony with the needs and requirements of the company

  • Identify and enable opportunities for cost reductions, cost avoidance and service improvements

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions):

  • Develop, implement and direct cost reduction projects,
  • Identifies and enable opportunities for cost reductions, cost avoidance and service improvements. Provides guidelines and direction to the local team to execute procurement tactics to achieve these benefits.
  • Acts as a lead buyer for an Operating Company / Business.
  • Provides monthly reporting on savings, benefits, key initiatives and projects through development of an effective Procurement Management dashboard (KPIs)
  • Own the supplier relationships and take actions to deliver value through growth
  • Produce documents related to tenders (requests for information and proposals), including schedules of compliance, scope of work cost analysis, and also define the criteria to evaluate the bids from the suppliers.
  • Write the contracts and the related negotiations in accordance with the requirements imposed by legal and financial services.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement of (How to buy, SOX) compliance process as a whole (P2P)
  • Training ERP systems or supply (SAP, Ariba) to the old and new employees.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders (including management of work groups to ensure to be well aware of the needs and requirements

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience

  • Business or technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Certification in a recognized supply chain or procurement association is a plus.

Work Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years procurement experience
  • 3 years People Management experience 

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

  • A flair pushed for business - ideally doubled experience in supply;
  • At least five years of experience in supply in the categories of capital investments (CAPEX) and operating (OPEX) costs;
  • Strong skills recognized for strong and lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders;
  • The ability to communicate orally and in writing in a professional and succinct with internal and external stakeholders;
