Job Summary 

This position requires experience and business knowledge in the definition and management of the different Business Partner types. These include customer (sold-to, bill-to, ship-to, payer), vendor, employees, customer contacts, etc.  A broad end-to end-understanding of the different processes each of these partners are used in will be critical, in order to guide the different teams on how to utilize and populate the different fields in the different business processes and analytical scenarios.

 

You will identify, define and drive the functional requirements for the Business Partner strategy and for the process improvements through selection and application of best practices.  You will participate in the OBE SAP Customer Experience project scoping and delivery to ensure overall success in achieving the expected results.

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions as needed
  • Guiding the team members with best practices
  • Coordinate projects and enhancements in SAP
  • Perform data compilation, preparation, cleansing, analysis, and manipulation or large data sets to meet project objectives
  • Develop and implement testing scenarios
  • Define, implement and track Key Performance Indicators to measure the effectiveness of the Business Partner data models, processes and changes implemented
  • Create quality documentation (Business Process documents, process flows, policies and procedures, strategies, etc.)
  • Provide post implementation support and problem resolution
  • Partner in developing and implementing end user training and materials for internal associates and all field locations
  • Define artifacts for the review of completeness and consistency of the material Master Data, and audit of the compliance of actual pricing of operations with the pricing guidelines
  • Define processes and approval workflows for Business Partner master records to be created or changed, according to the different areas of responsibilities and business functions.

 

Education/Experience 

  • 5+ Years of experience managing, maintaining, and analyzing master data or related function.  Experience with SAP business partner master data and governance a plus
  • BA degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
  • Experience in master data strategies, processes, and governance including definition of data types, functional views, attributes, fields values, status, etc.
  • Ability to organize, evaluate, and produce complex data evaluation and recommendations  using tools such as Microsoft Excel (pivot tables,) and/or Access
  • Experience providing a consolidated view of data for analysis and decision-making purposes
  • Participated, contributed, and delivered systems implementations as a Process Owner or Subject Matter Experts in the master data domain
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement
  • Team lead experience with Large and Medium Sized Enterprises
  • 100% travel required (Mon to Thu) first 24 months of the project to Los Angeles, CA. Ability to travel 25% for remainder of implementation (29 months)
  • Minimal travel as necessary post project
  • Local candidates preferred
