Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is undergoing a multi-year business and technology transformation initiative and is hiring future leaders to help support its transformation efforts. Our Digital Transformation journey is comprised of S/4HANA and SAP CX (Go to Market) implementations. Data is a critical component of this transformation and has a direct impact on our products, services, and customers. This position will support master data governance through the implementation of data quality tools and strategic governance initiatives.

 

Here’s What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Ensures master data integrity in key systems including SAP CX, S/4HANA, legacy as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
  • Responsible for ongoing data governance efforts, creation of data quality initiatives and management of related data.
  • Works with business leadership teams to identify data owners across the organization and partners with them to provide consistent and reliable data for operational excellence.
  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction. Understands the downstream impact of SAP CX data and supports end-to-end data integrity and quality.
  • In collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards, defines and implements data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
  • Assists efforts related to System Integration Testing and UAT of master data. Works with business SMEs to ensure data adheres to the standards established by the company and meets or exceeds customer needs.
  • Understands data needs for various OBE business units, able to understand and articulate data needs of a major ERP and Go to Market business transformation project (multi-year, multiple business units)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

4-year degree; advanced degree a plus

4+ years prior master data experience with proven results to drive major ERP and digital transformation projects.

Prior experience with data governance tools (MDG)

Affinity with Architecture and Building Materials industry.

Prior SAP CX platform experience is a plus.

 

Special skills required:

  • Open and accessible management style, with the ability to consistently achieve positive results and collaborate across the team
  • Strong background in customer and product master data, product categories, sales orders, sales carts, and product recommendations.
  • Deep knowledge of data related to sales, service, marketing, e-commerce, contacts, references, and CRM systems supporting a diverse customer base.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the database management, SAP ERP and CX landscape, master data KPI's, digital marketing, e-retail- and brand strategies, with the ability to apply master data knowledge to solve complex customer problems successfully.
  • Strong understanding of master data governance with the ability to implement an enterprise level data strategy across all lines of business.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen, to understand, and to translate the Go To Market master data strategy to engaging digital experiences and enroll all involved stakeholders in support of strategies
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, complex matrix and changing environment
  • Up to 75% travel required to support project initiatives.
