About the role
We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Technical Sales Manager to join our National Sales Team, based flexibly within Ireland or the UK (the role is hybrid working).
The role is responsible for supporting and developing our Ireland distributors and customers by providing them with both technical support and expertise as well as commercial support.
It is the first point of contact for technical enquiries from our key accounts and liaises with both the internal technical team and PDM (Project Design & Management) team, to offer the correct solutions required on the project. You will also engage with both end users and our distribution partners to maintain specification and supply of Leviat products via our distribution network
In addition, it also drives specification via design meetings and delivers the full suite of Leviat CPD’s (Continual Professional Development presentations on our products) to engineers/architects and design teams.
Main responsibilities
In this role you'll:
- Provide technical assistance on enquiries from key distributor and end user accounts.
- Manage the project pipeline either via distribution or end user/architects.
- Prepare and deliver the full suite of CPD presentations to engineers, architects and key customers.
- Attend design meetings to assist with technical enquiries and gain specification of Leviat branded products.
- Advise on suitability and selection of Leviat Products for specific situations and providing general advice on the performance and applications of Leviat components.
- Manage key account relationships.
- Help our partners secure product sales in line with area targets and business strategy by presenting our design proposal and benefits of use in a structured and professional manner.
- Actively deliver product training on existing and new products in line with overall marketing and sales strategies
Experience & qualifications
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- A technical awareness and knowledge of Leviat products (training will be provided).
- To be based in or able to regularly travel to Ireland
- Good Presentation Skills
- Commercial Acumen
- Demonstrable negotiation skills and be able to deal with both objections and issues from customers.
- To have excellent customer rapport and communication skills
- A good understanding of sales process and structure
- A knowledge of CRM , Excel and IT
- To be pro- active and able to deliver results to deadlines.
- A full Clean driving licence
