Haemme vastuullisuusosastollemme Supplementary Cementitious Material Manageria. SCM Manager vastaa erilaisten sideaineratkaisujen tutkimuksesta ja kehityksestä. Työ kattaa nykyiset ja tulevat sementin seosaineet, kokonaan uudet sideainesovellukset sekä uusien analyysi- ja tutkimusmenetelmien kartoituksen ja kehittämisen. Talon sisällä SCM Manager toimii tiiviissä yhteistyössä oman osastonsa lisäksi hankinnan, teknisen osaston, tuotannon ja asiakkaiden kanssa. Työhön kuuluu myös yhteistyötä alan tutkimuslaitosten, yliopistojen ja toimialajärjestöjen kanssa. Lisäksi työhön kuuluu Betometrin betonin lämmön- ja lujuudenkehityksen mallinnusohjelman kehittäminen.

Betonirakentaminen on tulevina vuosina suurten muutosten edessä, kun vähähiilinen rakentaminen tulee osaksi jokapäiväistä arkeamme. SCM Managerina olet keskeisessä roolissa edistämässä tätä muutosta ja vähentämässä Suomen CO2-päästöjä. 

Tutkimus ja kehitystyömme tukena toimii kansainvälinen emoyhtiömme, CRH, jossa toimii yhteensä 75 000 henkilöä ja joka toimii maailmanlaajuisesti 29 maassa, neljällä mantereella. Suomen tuotekehityksessä toimimme tiiviissä yhteystyössä mm. CRHn Euroopan Innovation Centerin ja muiden kehitykseen keskittyneiden tukitoimintojen kanssa. Suuri konserni tarjoaa erinomaiset mahdollisuudet kansainväliseen verkostoitumiseen ja osaamisen kehittämiseen.

Sinulta löytyy vahvaa osaamista betonin lujuus- ja säilyvyysominaisuuksista, betoniteknologiasta sekä sementtipohjaisten materiaalien tutkimuksesta ja testausmenetelmistä. Työskentelet hyvin itsenäisesti ja olet oma-aloitteinen. Edellytämme hyvää englannin kielen taitoa sekä riittävää suomen kielen taitoa.

Työ on asiantuntijatyötä, jossa odotamme SCM Managerin seuraavan alan keskeisiä tapahtumia ja olevan aktiivinen oppiakseen jatkuvasti uutta. We are looking for a Supplementary Cementitious Material (SCM) Manager to join our Sustainability Department. The SCM Manager is responsible for researching and developing various binder solutions. The role covers current and future cement additives, entirely new binder applications, and the exploration and development of new analysis and research methods. Internally, the SCM Manager will work closely not only with their own department but also with procurement, the technical department, production, and customers. Additionally, the role involves collaboration with research institutions, universities, and industry organizations. The role also includes the development of Betometri, a modeling tool for concrete heat and strength development.

Concrete construction is facing major changes in the coming years as low-carbon building becomes part of everyday life. As the SCM Manager, you will play a key role in driving this transformation and reducing Finland’s CO₂ emissions. 

Our research and development efforts are supported by our international parent company, CRH, which employs 75,000 people across 29 countries on four continents. In Finland, we work closely with CRH’s European Innovation Center and other development-focused support functions. The role requires strong expertise in concrete strength and durability properties, concrete technology, and research and testing methods for cement-based materials. The role involves operating independently and demonstrating initiative in daily responsibilities. Proficiency in English and sufficient skills in Finnish are also required.

This role can be partially performed remotely, your location can be either our office in Espoo or Parainen. We are open to candidates across Europe willing to relocate to Finland.
