Job Summary
The purpose of the Shipping Associate/Paker is to ensures safe and accurate packing/skidding of outbound orders to arrive at our customer in a quality condition. Shipping Associate/Packer is accountable for the execution and accuracy of the order picking and packing process through completion.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute Pick Lists to Pick team
- Ensure correct product is picked and document accordingly
- Check quality of product and report findings to Lead, Supervisor or QC if necessary
- Select proper packaging materials
- Pack product to ensure safe transit to deliver in a quality condition
- Weigh shipment
- Provides necessary documentation to Shipping Clerk for processing
- Generate and ensure accurate application of all required skid/pallet labeling for shipment
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading and math skills. Must be able to follow directions
- Exercises independent initiative/judgement in work methods
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
- The hourly pay rate is $17.00/hr + $1.50/hr shift differnential
