- Perform daily plant maintenance and preventative maintenance activities.
- Maintain plant cleanliness and complete routine housekeeping duties.
- Identify and report maintenance issues to plant leadership.
- Assist with general labor tasks and operate small power tools as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support coworkers and assist with additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license meeting state requirements.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
- Two years of related maintenance, construction, or industrial experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience operating loaders, skid steers, or similar equipment.
- Ability to operate front-end loaders and skid loaders.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools.
- Ability to work independently and safely with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
- Lift and carry up to 50-100 pounds occasionally.
- Climb ladders and work at heights.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods.
- Work in confined spaces and on uneven surfaces.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Outdoor and industrial plant environment.
- Exposure to moving machinery, dust, fumes, and varying weather conditions.
- Occasional exposure to electrical hazards.
- Overtime, weekends, and travel may be required.
