The Product Management Manager will lead and manage revenue and profit growth strategy for designated product category, including managing the overall product portfolio. Prepare product briefs and pricing strategy, as well as define key features, selling points and product differentiators. Define product positioning within category and against competitive products. Lead cross-functional new product development team from concept to commercialization.


  • Grow the product category to meet and exceed KPI’s for growth and profit
  • Create a program vision and strategy for the category, including go-to-market plans, launch plans, sales readiness and competitive positioning. Ensure that product strategies are highly aligned to CRL vision and that the supply base is aligned with and capable of supporting these strategies. Owns the roadmap that is the condensate version of that product line vision
  • Define value proposition, key selling and messaging points for the product line. Partner closely with Digital and Product Marketing teams to develop collateral and website content to support new and existing products.
  • Lead all aspects of product lifecycle management including portfolio optimization, in-portfolio pricing, launch strategy, on-going category analysis and end-of-life strategy.
  • Identify and initiate focused projects (e.g. sourcing, demand management) and manage pipeline of projects within selected categories to ensure results meet targets. Develops and tracks the detailed plans for each product project. Key inputs include business goals like major brand market share, ROA targets, SKU thresholds, market research insights and so on
  • Identify new business growth opportunities; new products, expanded distribution with current customers, new channels of distribution with new customers. Evaluate all opportunities from a P&L standpoint to guide Sales, Marketing and Product Development.
  • Lead product strategy and process driving Monthly Category Meetings and Weekly Product line Meetings, with Marketing Leadership, Sales, Product Management, Product Development and Supply Chain teams. Initiate insight-driven, creative brainstorm sessions with Brand Marketing and Creative teams to support ideation and concepts for new product launches. Attend and support trade shows, customer meetings, and end user visits as necessary
  • Conduct ongoing competitor and industry analysis, and reporting, highlighting white spaces opportunities, and strategies to enhance existing portfolio.
  • Remain current on market trends and innovations across all relevant industries, bringing vision and insights to innovation pipeline discussion.
  • Lead development of new products from identification through commercialization.


The Product Manager will become the subject matter expert for the products in their portfolio, will provide content for training to both internal and external customers



Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 year of product management experience preferably in B2B, ecommerce environment. Building Material experience is a plus. Data driven personality with strong interpersonal skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of strategic marketing including segmentation, pricing, competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrated success of consistent sales and margin growth and developing new product and markets.
  • Experience in defining product requirements and working with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of products based on business requirements.
  • Development and launch execution of new products.
  • Strong teamwork and cross functional leadership skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
