Job Summary

 

Responsible for ensuring the materials running on the plant floor processed properly and will pass all quality and processing requirements. You will be troubleshooting and analyzing problems as they arise. You will be required to follow all process standards.

 

Job Responsibilites

 

  • Ensure materials and blends are processed at standard
  • Ensure cycle time and part standards are met
  • Ensure scrap goals are met
  • Establish primary processes to maximize quality, part and labor requirements
  • Adjust processes to ensure machines are running efficiently
  • Maintain process books / ensure all process changes are recorded
  • Ensure that the process supports minimal flash
  • Write necessary maintenance work orders
  • Drive cycle time & Wt. reduction program

 

Job Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience may be considered
  • At least 3 years' experaince in Materials Processing
  • At least 3 years working in a manufacturing environment
  • Plastics experience desirable  (structural foam / injection molding preferred)
  • Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and willing to support all shifts 
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand 8 hours a day
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as needed
