Job Summary

 

The Commercial (Sales) Analyst role will be responsible for supporting the key functions related to the commercial sales organization. Including, but not limited to Production, Logistics, Procurement, Pricing, Forecasting, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and the review of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This position will be in a fast-paced environment that will require the ability to multi-task with very little oversight.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with Sales and Functional leaders to ensure reports are aligned to KPIs and business drivers
  • Analyze pricing and costing data to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Compile and analyze data to forecast sales trends
  • Implementation of pricing adjustments and market demands
  • Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity
  • Analyze and support various key business drivers such as sales and logistics and production
  • Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
  • Create and maintain dashboards using various Business Intelligence (BI) tools
  • Assist in supply chain planning for ordering and inventory management
  • Assist in data preparation for various leadership meetings
  • Ensure safety standards are met by complying with company policies and promoting a safe work environment

 

Required Skills/Abilities

 

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Goal-driven and attention to detail
  • Must possess and have working knowledge to complete necessary mathematical and statistical calculations
  • Excellent organizational skills and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Tableau, and other similar ERP systems
  • Ability to travel and work away from home when required
  • Willingness and ability to learn CRH-specific procedures, practices, and systems

 

Education and Experience

 

  • BS or BA required
  • 2+ years of professional experience in the areas of Sales, Operations, or Data Analysis

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
