Primary Function


Our company is currently seeking an Architectural Business Development Specialist for the Southeast US market(Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville).  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the job.




  • Industry experience required, must have strong product knowledge in storefront, window wall, curtain wall and glass products
  • Glazing system application experience and knowledge of building integration
  • Good Presentation Skills are mandatory. Candidate must be capable of speaking confidently and professionally to a large group of architects during “Lunch & Learn Presentations” in addition to project team meetings.
  • Must be self-motivated and have good communication and documentation skills
  • Must have ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications
  • Estimated Travel 50%
  • AutoCAD a plus but not required
  • Previous sales experience and college degree preferred




  • Create demand for the entire Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope product line by promoting to architects and industry influencers
  • Conduct effective calls on architects, developers, owners and consultants promoting Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope
  • Promote Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope to architects and specification writers to become the project specification Basis of Design
  • Learn competitor products & develop strategies to successfully promote Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope
  • Work closely with the Business Development Team, Territory Sales Representatives and Architectural Building Solutions Group in developing strong relationships with architects and industry influencers
  • Inform management of market demands and product trends
  • Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures
