We are currently looking for a Shipping/Receiving worker at our Newnan, GA facility. Duties include pulling orders and preparing them for shipment which includes duties such as packing, verifying orders, and loading trucks for delivery to customers. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing/production environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Willing to follow directions, have good communication skills, capability to work well with others, good computer skills and must be safety-minded at all times.

• Pull customer pick up orders and load on truck

• Move packed metal product

• Ability to use a hand pallet and or motorized pallet jack

• Ability to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.

• Ability to grasp and squeeze small parts and large items

• Ability to read written instructions and take verbal directions

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under time constraints

• Ability to adapt to constant change

• Ability to stand on concrete for up to 12 hours per day

• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.

• Ability to wear all safety wear including hard hats, steel toe boots with metatarsals, safety glasses, ear plugs, Kevlar sleeves and long pants

• Must be able to adhere to all safety protocol

• Experience in manufacturing is preferred

• Ability to read a tape measure to a 1/32”

• Basic computer skills

• Use of light industrial equipment a plus, but not a requirement (on the job training)

• Prepare boxes for shipment to customers

• Verify all shipping orders before they are shipped (shipping address, parts, and correct quantity)

• Loading trailer correctly to ensure delivery of material in good condition

• Maintaining a safe and clean work area and assisting with general housekeeping in Shipping Department

• Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job



• At least one (1) year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility

• Basic computer understanding

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels

• Must be able to follow verbal and basic written instructions in English

• Ability to use a hand pallet and or motorized pallet jack

• Must be able to learn shipping documentation process

• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production

• Flexible work availability to work "off shift" or overtime as required

• Monday – Saturday work week

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred

• Experience with small hand tools a plus

• Forklift experience a plus

• Safety minded: familiar with JSA, SOP, MSDS a plus


Physical Requirements

• Must be able to constantly bend, squat, reach, lift and push

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly

• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
