Order Fulfilment
Progress the customers order from technical enquiries through to delivery and settlement of account
Correspond with customer to request information, communicate problems or notify them of key events.
Ensure all team communications with customers are commercially appropriate, clear and informative.
Attend site meetings when required to acquire design and program information or resolve problems.
Maintain the project file and quality documentation to a high standard
Ensure all necessary calculations are carried out.
Ensure all necessary drawings are produced and that our designs are illustrated to a good standard.  Issue designs and drawings for approval.
Co-ordinate approvals and customers instructions to manufacture.
Prepare clear and accurate manufacturing drawings and schedules for order processing.
Maximise commercial opportunities whilst taking into account pricing issues affecting the customer / project.
Resolve manufacturing and delivery issues with production.  Provide information to customer as necessary.
Resolve credit queries as soon as possible.  Liaise with accounts and customers as necessary
Managing Resources
Utilise the available resources ensuring quality whilst maximising efficiency.
Assess skill requirements and urgency of incoming tasks and prioritise in consultation with the PDM Team Manager and Project Manager.
Provide training and support to other team members
Liaise closely with PDM Team Manager and Project Manager at all times ensuring information regarding projects, customers or team members is communicated.  Ensure any developing service or quality issues are reported as a matter of urgency.
Flexibility
Ensure the company is flexible in its approach to utilising skill and knowledge in order to benefit the business when the need arises
Where you posses the relevant skills and knowledge, or following suitable training, be flexible enough to perform any other reasonable duties in order to support the business.
Health & Safety
Ensure compliance with all personal obligations under Health & Safety legislation and to adhere to Company H&S policies and procedures, whilst working within and striving to improve the Safety Audit.
Abide by site H&S policies and procedures, with special consideration for safe systems of work and practices
Comply with all safe working procedures, practices, rules, regulations and instructions given by supervision/management.
Wear protective clothing and other personal protective equipment appropriate for the task.
Maintain good housekeeping within the PDM and across the site.
Report any incident or any unsafe situation immediately to the first line supervisor or site manager.
Maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
