Responsibilities:
- Deploy and implement the Group’s Health and Safety policy at the sites.
- Ensure regulatory oversight of workplace Health and Safety.
- Advise and support site managers in the analysis of safety risks and the implementation of preventive measures.
- Perform regular internal audits at each site and monitor corrective action plans.
- Lead accident investigations, analyze root causes and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Analyze accidents/incidents and drive continuous improvement approaches.
- Organise awareness, training and communication campaigns on safety issues.
- Manage relations with supervisory bodies, medical staff and workers representative bodies for instance labour union, occupational doctor, etc.
- Supervise and facilitate the network of on-site safety representatives.
- Contribute to the harmonization of practices between sites.
Profile:
- Bac+4/5 in Health and Safety, Environment or equivalent (type Master HSE, engineer with safety specialization, etc.)
- Experience (5 to 10 years minimum) in a similar position, ideally in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with the Belgium regulations on workplace safety.
- Strong project management and cross-functional facilitation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, leadership, pedagogy.
