About the role

 

We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our Sales team based in Ternat, Belgium.

The role is responsible for driving sales and growth in our sheet metal/forming business. 

 

Main responsibilities

 

In this role you'll:

 

  • Develop and execute a robust commercial strategy, tailored to the Belgian market in collaboration with regional sales teams.
  • Provide valuable market insights to senior management, guiding strategic decision making. 
  • Ensure transparent & competitive pricing policies to boost market share
  • Lead and Empower the sales team, identifying strengths & weaknesses to optimise performance
  • Cultivate relationships with key customers, driving business expansion and fostering long term partnerships
  • Implement sales initiatives to capture key demographics and drive growth
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service

 

Experience & qualifications

  • To have a strategic mindset with a drive for results & innovation
  • The ability to attract, develop and motivate talented people
  • Developed negotiation skills and decision making capabilities
  • A proven track record in change management & commercial excellence
  • A degree in either marketing, communications or a related field
  • Significant B2B sales experience
  • A proficiency in MS Office, ERP and CRM systems
  • A fluency in Dutch, French & English
