Job Summary

Work as a valued member of the process maintenance team as a skilled journey level multi-craft technician. The recent addition of state-of-the-art extrusion and metal processing equipment has created a need for additional skilled maintenance technicians.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with team and alone to complete planned and unplanned maintenance functions
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system in all areas of the plant.
  • Follow safety procedures including but not limited to, LOTO, Fall prevention, confined space, NFPA 70E
  • Document work using Emaint CMMS system.
  • Maintain all production equipment in a safe and proper operating condition. This includes both mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as necessary.
  • Perform machine installations and modifications as necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment.
  • Install electrical equipment and repairs or replace wiring and fixtures.
  • Ability to read Electrical and Hydraulic Schematics and troubleshoot.
  • Investigate malfunctions of electrical components, such as starters, relays, switches, photo-electrics, and other components.
  • Perform other assignments as required by OBE

 

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Technical college or related training preferred
  • Familiarity with CMMS preferably Emaint
  • Qualified candidates must have a working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills with peers and management
  • Ability to operate within a team environment.
  • 5+ Years of mechanical experience
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Experience with motor drive controls
