Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope®, a CRH company, is the leading supplier of products specified to close the building envelope. They include: custom-engineered curtain wall and window wall, architectural windows, storefront systems, doors, skylights and architectural glass.

 

Primary Function: Provide temporary support to the Quality/Continuous Improvement group. Receive exposure and training in the Quality department as well as experience in a manufacturing environment. This assignment date and term will be determined during the interview process with pay at the rate of $10.80 per hour, no benefits would be applicable.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18
  • Current high school/college student majoring in Technical/Science/Engineering related field. (2 yr. degree or equivalent academic credits- preferred)
  • Technical or engineering coursework or equivalent on the job experience
  • Familiarity with engineering design programs (Hands-on experience preferred)
  • PC computer skills w/ MS Word, Excel.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Participate and support all team activities.
  • Must have ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Prior experience or internship in an industrial manufacturing setting preferred

 

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Train and job shadow in each function of Quality Department.
  • Perform administrative and data entry functions in support of Quality, Safety, Production and/or Engineering.
  • Create and maintain data records/documents
  • Project support, collecting data, planning and execution of projects.
  • Regular and predictable attendance; safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job.
