Job Summary

Handle material by matching work orders with install sheets to fulfill shower and bath enclosure hardware orders to be shipped out to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Match work orders with install sheets
• Perform inventory counts
• Check email throughout the day and print off work orders
• Pack orders into boxes while double-checking other hardware packer's orders
• Allocate all orders that have been packed for the day
• Communicate with manager about any missing hardware and inventory adjustments
• Inspect material to ensure there are no defects
• Process reports
• Scan work orders

Regular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.

Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements

• Strong organizational and listening skills
• Ability to read and perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to operate a chop saw and air stapler
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment to meet required deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively and conduct themselves professionally, with excellent written and verbal communications
• Computer experience and accuracy in numeric typing

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, twist, walk, push, pull, and reach frequently
• Must be able to perform heavy work, lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
• Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend on a ladder
• Must have close visual acuity to perform assigned tasks such as reading work orders, checking emails, inspecting material, and packing boxes
• Must be able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled (protection from the weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes)
