Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Account Manager to join our sales team and has a desire to grow! The Account Manager will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You need to be able to close sales and meet targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
- Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information by email.
- Keeping up with product information updates.
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
- Explaining features of products and services.
- Staying informed about competing products and services.
- Upselling products and services.
- Researching and qualifying new leads.
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements
- College Degree in Business or related field is required
- 3-5+ years of sales experience, preferably in distribution or manufacturing industry
- Strong communication skills, both strong written and verbal skills.
- Intermediate mathematical skills, calculate percentages, sales prices, and discounts.
- Teamwork skills, ability to interact and work effectively in a team environment.
- Skills in persuasion and influencing, building relationships, develop trust and how to persuade.
- Strong computer skills and experience with CRM required
- SAP experience preferred
