CRH Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) is a strategic division within the company that encompasses a diverse portfolio of operations and business in the Eastern region. Comprising markets Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Germany and Switzerland, the CEE region plays a crucial role in CRH’s global presence and growth strategy.

 

We are currently recruiting for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our dynamic HR team in the Central and Eastern Europe division at CRH and be based in Warsaw, Poland, or Budapest Hungary, or one of the countries where we currently operate.

 

In this role of CEE Learning & Development Specialist, you will report to the CEE Talent and Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) Director working closely with the CEE Talent Manager, and wider country-level HR community to help build agility and capability through our people, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent that can drive our continued growth.

 

This role is a multi-faceted position primarily focussing on supporting Talent management and Learning and Development activities. The role will be working on a hybrid basis including some travel to different Central and Eastern European countries to facilitate, deliver training and support Early Talent programs.

 Your Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the delivery of the talent and development strategy across CRH’s CEE Division.
  • Coordinate, organise and manage logistics for trainings, workshops, and other L&D activities cross CEE Division (both – virtual and in-person)
  • Partner with CEE Talent Management team on Talent Succession Reviews (TSR), including SF management.
  • Assist with the compilation of talent data for various reporting and decision-making activities.
  • Administrate yearly employee satisfaction survey process, including tool management
  • Support CEE Talent Management Team with all other initiatives and challenges
  • Administrative support when needed

 

What You Bring to the Team:

 

The ideal CEE Learning & Development Specialist candidate should be able to demonstrate solid previous experience working within Talent Management, Learning & Development or a similar capacity, ideally gained within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As well as possess a solid grasp of HR principles and knowledge of best practices including the ability to support design and implementation of training programs effectively.

 

  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or production sectors is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR processes and operations.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, resilient, and adaptable approach, able to remain effective under pressure.
