CRH is looking for a Web Content Coordinator to join the Strategic Intelligence team on a 12 month contract basis. The Strategic Intelligence team whose objective is to develop a capability to systematically explore and understand future trends that will impact the construction industry and to identify opportunities for CRH to create value therein. As part of this team, the Web Content Coordinator will assist in the management of the Katalyst platform: an internal knowledge sharing platform designed to share news, strategic insights, and intel products with stakeholders to drive strategic thinking and discussion. The Strategic Intelligence teams’ aspiration is to support fact-based discussions to improve the decision-making process, with a clear focus on understanding threats and potential opportunities for CRH and the construction industry. The Strategic Intelligence team sits within the Strategy function. It is a high performing, fast paced enjoyable environment that places a strong focus on professional development.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role, you will assist in the management of CRH’s internal knowledge sharing platform:

  • Day-to-day management of the Katalyst platform, including uploading content, managing web structures and maintaining webpage
  • Work with content owners to check and publish content, enhancing search optimization and adhering to content strategy
  • Take ownership of publishing daily content and compiling periodic newsletters/ comms
  • Regularly review existing content for updates and relevance, implementing archiving procedures
  • Organise and maintain tagging of content to improve searchability and user experience
  • Review analytics to track content performance and user engagement, providing regular reports to management
  • Manage user access controls and roles to ensure correct permissions are set
  • Provide support and training to platform users, developing user training guides and sessions to maximise platform utilisation
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of content management, including process flows and versioning control
  • Assist with any technical/content queries from users and establish feedback channels for stakeholders
  • Support the broader Katalyst Central Team with wider platform development priorities and initiatives, helping to drive the continued rollout, evolution and adoption of Katalyst across CRH

 

Key Functional Competencies and Relevant Experience

  • Strategic mindset and strong interest in current and future business trends

  • Ability to multitask within tight deadlines

 

Your Education and Experience

You are/have:

  • Third level degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Digital Marketing or Information Technology
  • 2+ years’ experience working in content management
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) to create, edit and organise content
  • Experience working with Unily or similar employee experience/intranet platforms is a bonus but not essential
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS
  • Proficiency in using web analytics tools to track performance
  • Knowledge of content governance, including policies, workflows and standards
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Good systems capabilities and/or interest in technology
  • Fluent in English
