Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful business insights? Do you enjoy working closely with operations and helping drive performance through financial analysis?
We are looking for a Financial Controller to support our Ready-Mix Concrete business by providing financial analysis, cost controlling, budgeting and forecasting support, while partnering closely with operational teams and management to drive business performance.
What you'll do
- Monitor and analyze business performance, with a strong focus on industrial and operational costs
- Prepare and interpret financial reports, forecasts and budgets
- Support monthly closing activities and management reporting
- Partner with plant and operational managers to understand performance drivers and identify improvement opportunities
- Analyze variances against budget, forecast and prior year results
- Contribute to business planning and decision-making processes
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal reporting requirements
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Controlling
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; experience in the construction or building materials industry is an advantage
- Strong understanding of industrial cost controlling
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is an advantage
- Experience working with SAP
- Advanced English and Romanian language skills, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
