Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful business insights? Do you enjoy working closely with operations and helping drive performance through financial analysis?

We are looking for a Financial Controller to support our Ready-Mix Concrete business by providing financial analysis, cost controlling, budgeting and forecasting support, while partnering closely with operational teams and management to drive business performance.

What you'll do

  • Monitor and analyze business performance, with a strong focus on industrial and operational costs
  • Prepare and interpret financial reports, forecasts and budgets
  • Support monthly closing activities and management reporting
  • Partner with plant and operational managers to understand performance drivers and identify improvement opportunities
  • Analyze variances against budget, forecast and prior year results
  • Contribute to business planning and decision-making processes
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal reporting requirements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Controlling
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; experience in the construction or building materials industry is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of industrial cost controlling
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is an advantage
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Advanced English and Romanian language skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
