Job Summary

 

Perform a range of duties to oversee and assist with the production and finishing of concrete products.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for the daily/weekly production schedule
  • Establishes formal and informal communications for staff and employees
  • Develops self, staff, and employees for advancement and contribution to the success of the business
  • Ensures proper staffing of operations resources
  • Responsible for plant layout, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency
  • Ensures safety committee is actively engaged in promoting awareness for safety programs/initiatives
  • Manages the corrective action/progressive disciplinary process for all operation techs
  • Operation of production equipment, forklifts and overhead cranes as needed

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 3+ years leadership experience in an industrial environment leading multiple departments
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and allocate resources
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and oral communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Thorough knowledge of effective and efficient production and manufacturing methods

 

Compensation

 

  • The hourly pay rate is $32-$35/hr.
