Job Summary
The Part-Time Production Assistant will perform a variety of general office and accounting activities by performing the following duties personally or through collaboration with other company personnel.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage all production related entries in SAP (ERP) including daily deliveries, pick order builds, cycle counts, inventory transfers, and more
- Supporting shipping and receiving teams, often with scanning packets to corporate/3rd party contracts
- Creating, checking, and filing load packets
- Support production teams as needed with actions to keep the manufacturing areas safe, clean and organized
- Ability to interact with drivers and office staff, and contribute to building a positive team spirit
- Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel
- Job responsibilities involve the occasional use of hand tools and power tools
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Requirements
- High School, Trade School, or at least two years related educational experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Related experience, at least 1 year is preferred
- Ability to read/write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Strong interpersonal and organizations skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to learn/understand ERP system function
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100’s
- Must possess mobility to work in a dual setting of a standard office and manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Compensation
- The hourly pay rate is $25/hr
