Position Overview
The VP Solutions (Sales) Operations reporting to the EVP Solutions will provide leadership to all sales operation’s functions focused on sales effectiveness and efficiency. This position is responsible for supporting our field organizations with identity and management of solutions projects, enabling the four CRH platforms to better service the customer and provide a differentiated value proposition leveraging the full CRH portfolio. Successful candidates will have the ability to provide strategic leadership to sales operations and partner closely with our business leaders while also being a hands-on member to shape the solutions operations team.

This position may be based out of the Atlanta, GA, (h eadquarters) or a remote office.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Responsible for leading the team that supports the field organization with identity and management of solutions projects.
- Market Liaison tied to Market Leaders with PMO support.
- Promotes awareness within local markets of all CRH capabilities.
- Drives alignment with the filed commercial teams.
- Owns Salesforce (CRM) platform for all of America’s, supporting the platform company needs and the solutions organization, including application, training and master data capabilities.
- Responsible for marketing collateral for solutions teams – tailored to each markets’ capabilities.
- Owns the roll out of Best Practices knowledge base with key wins and game planning.
- Own, manage, and refine Sales methodology training (value selling) and playbook management.
- Develop Sales Incentive management – tied to finance and HR but utilizing salesforce as source of truth for “sales credit splits”.
- Monitor and lead sales training initiatives.
- Define and monitor Rules of engagement with the market sales teams and the solutions organization-with aligned sales responsibilities.
- Work with market teams to forecast solutions pipeline and execution.
- Develop solutions selling strategies and monitor the effectiveness of solutions efforts and ensuring that they are aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Develop and track solution sales analytics and solutions dashboards utilizing Salesforce.
- Tracks market trends and competitive landscape working with the broader solutions team and platform leadership.
- Drive relationship with Salesforce to deliver enabled technology to support solutions strategy.
- Additional coordination with Exploration Council, Sustainability Council, Innovation and Venturing teams as necessary.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field of study is preferred.
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressive business experience, mixture of operational and sales leadership strongly preferred.
- Experience in building materials, construction or manufacturing sectors preferred.
- Ability to solve complex problems by identification of most impactful actions and prioritizing efforts in addressing them.
- Highly strategic and comfortable with ambiguity
- Fast paced and highly competitive

- Self-motivated, thought leader, problem solver, strategic thinker, and can maintain composure in stressful and uncertain situations.

Work Requirements
- Must be 18 years in age or older

- Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
