Temporary Data Entry Clerk

Job Description Summary

This position requires the employee to perform a variety of functions including, but not limited to, the following:

• Accurately typing data into spreadsheets or databases
• Answer incoming calls from customers and respond to their inquiries and complaints in an appropriate manner
• Maintain open communication lines with vendors
• Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service 
• Collaborate with other departments 
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Candidate must be energetic and customer friendly with the ability to work in a fast-paced team atmosphere
• Strong computer skills
• Strong attention to detail 
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision
• Demonstrate good performance, safety and attendance
• Demonstrates ability to work and communicate well with Supervisors, Dispatchers, Drivers and other employees
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
• Pre-employment screenings are required. 

Education/Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent
