Position Overview

 

The Associate Solutions Operations Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Solutions Operations projects and sub-projects to include ancillary scoping, budgeting and facilitation from initiation to completion. The role manages project team members, business stakeholders and partner resources to achieve project objectives and deliver projects on time, to quality and within budget.

 

The position can work from anywhere in the Eastern Time Zone (EST).

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

  • Assist with developing a project plan that lays out an approach and timeline to reach the goal.
  • Coordinate and/or host project meetings including assigning tasks and responsibilities, communicate risks and document meeting outcomes.
  • Allocate and manage project resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute the plan and deliver success.
  • Leverage internal tools for planning and execution (e.g., Smartsheet, Teams, Jira, Excel, SFDC, etc.) providing visibility and accountability for project team members.
  • Escalate risks and drive towards solutions that mitigate risks proactively.
  • Plan and coordinate specific events for the market teams.
  • Maintain regular communication outside of meetings with project stakeholders and external partners. Provide project updates, status reports, and presentations as required. Manage stakeholder expectations and address issues promptly.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards. Implement regular cadence for retrospectives to document best practices and make necessary process changes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Education/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in managing multiple and diverse projects (full project management life cycle) in a high-volume/fast paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge standard business processes and frameworks.  
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships as well as relationships with external vendors.
  • Experience working in a corporate PMO and Agile experience is an asset.
  • Experience working in Salesforce.com is preferred.

 

 

Work Requirements

 

  • Must be 18 years in age or older.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

  • Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
  • Available to travel up to 25%.
