Job Summary

 

Oldcastle Infrastructure is looking for a service-focused leader for our Enterprise Applications team.  This individual will be a hands-on, working leader with strong business acumen, outstanding problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of one or more business process areas, expertise in managing software vendor licensing & relationships, and the ability to manage others. The Business Application Manager will partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions, design and administer the platforms, and drive adoption, governance, and continuous improvement.  The ideal candidate combines strong systems expertise (configuration vs. customization), business analysis skills, and a product mindset to deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • This role will work hybrid out of our office in the Sandy Springs, GA area. 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Systems Ownership & Administration
    • Configure, administer, and optimize the software in the business enablement space (i.e.:  Autodesk, Smartsheet, Scribe, ServiceNow, Coupa, etc.)
    • Maintain environments, security roles, data integrations, and release management (Dev/Test/Prod). 
    • Establish and enforce governance standards (naming conventions, solution lifecycle, ALM, documentation). 
    • Work with business leaders and software vendors on RFPs, new contracts, and contract renewals

 

  • Business Analysis, Data, and Continuous Improvement
    • Facilitate discovery with business stakeholders to capture requirements, process maps, and success metrics. 
    • Translate requirements into user stories/acceptance criteria; prioritize backlog and roadmap. 
    • Lead configuration/build, testing, and deployment (including UAT and training). 
    • Monitor adoption, performance, and feedback; iterate solutions to improve usability and outcomes. 
    • Create and maintain documentation (runbooks, data models, SOPs, knowledge articles). 
    • Partner with data/IT teams to ensure high quality data flows, master data alignment, and API/ETL integrity. 
    • Implement role based access controls and audit trails; ensure compliance with IT, Information Security, and regulatory standards. 
    • Track and remediate platform risks; manage vendor relationships and roadmap alignment. 
    • Develop training assets, how to guides, and release notes; deliver workshops and office hours. 
    • Champion change management: communications, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement. 
    • Serve as Level‑2/3 support for complex issues; coordinate with vendors/IT support where needed. 

 

  • Team Leadership
    • Provide people leadership/management to a team of two to four application analysts under the supervision of the Director, Enterprise Applications.
    • Perform performance reviews and hold regular feedback conversations with direct reports.
    • Ensure team members understand business processes and facilitate work in a timely, efficient manner to meet the needs of our stakeholders.
    • Hold team members accountable to follow all defined processes and procedures; collaborating with them to develop new procedures where needed. 
    • Prioritize the creation, storage, and organization of a system and team documentation knowledge base to ensure all solutions delivered are thoroughly understood, documented, and transitioned well to Application Support and the Service Desk.
    • Drive the strategy, roadmap, execution, and optimization of the enterprise application portfolio with a cloud smart, vendor-supported philosophy.
    • Partner with key business stakeholders on behalf of the Enterprise Applications team to deliver high-quality strategic solutions that enable enterprise process efficiency, visibility, insights, and structure.
    • Ensure the team appropriately executes project tollgate processes for all assigned initiatives.
    • Work closely with the SAP Center of Excellence, ERP Optimization Team, Technical Developers, and Integration Engineers to ensure integrations between key enterprise applications and SAP are designed, developed, and supported appropriately.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline.
  • At least 7+ years of increasingly responsible experience in IT Enterprise Application functional roles.
  • CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, or PMO certifications preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience administering a variety of enterprise applications. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, & Visio.
  • At least 2+ years experience with IT Service Management platforms; ServiceNow preferred
  • 3+ years experience in a team leadership role.
  • Experience in a global, complex, multi-national manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong skills in relationship building among business stakeholders & colleagues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt communication and key messages to the
    audience.
  • Excellent documentation skills are required, including requirements, functional design or configuration, test scripts, and process flows.
  • Facilitates the end‑to‑end Agile lifecycle including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Thorough understanding of IT processes, specifically change management.
  • General understanding of project management. Formal project management experience or training is a plus.
  • Insightful and analytical contributor who provides valuable observations.
  • Problem solver with the ability to break down complex situations and provide solutions.
  • Proactive contributor who can work in a fast-paced, growing, and dynamic environment.
  • Advanced analytical, diagnostic, and technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of corporate business processes, including fundamental accounting and finance concepts, including forecasting, budget cycles and corporate reporting requirements preferred.
