Job Summary

 

As the ERP Systems Integration Manager (M&A) you will sit on the front lines of all acquisitions and orchestrate every aspect of the acquired company’s IT functions. The ideal candidate is action oriented, impact-focused, and has experience integrating ERP systems in a prior business or system architect role.  Reporting to the CIO of the multi-national Oldcastle APG ($4B) business.  

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Lead technology integration of acquisitions from T-30, through Day One planning and integration execution

  • Define the systems integration & data ecosystems and work with business & technical teams to migrate core data & establish technical infrastructure

  • Collaborate with Business stakeholders, other IT team members and Corporate Development (M&A) to execute a systems integration plan that supports business objectives

  • Own & orchestrate cross-functional business sessions for discovery, roadmap execution, user acceptance testing, and change management

  • Engage M&A business/data integration leads by deal to determine systems integration requirement,  Day One operating model, and internal / external communications & training

  • Analyze and optimize core processes within a cross-functional organization

  • Establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization

  • Nurture the acquired company through development of authentic, trusting working relationships & a thoughtful change management program

  • Serve as a positive spokesperson to address employees' systems integration questions and boost awareness about upcoming system and data governance changes

  • Enhance the APG IT M&A playbook with learnings from each acquisition and continue to maintain with support from broader team’s contribution on a periodic basis

  • Travel around 25-30% depending on acquistion activity

  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field 

  • 5 years of experience with ERP systems / data; Customer master Supplier master, Item master, BOM & Pricing. SAP / Infor M3 preferred

  • 5 years of Agile program management experience with strong ability to estimate, plan, execute & track work

  • Strong data quality and data integrity skills required

  • Experience applying various methodologies to assess data across technical systems, business processes & operational issues

  • Effective communication & influencing skills; High EQ, low ego

  • Strong planning, critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail and organization skills

  • Prior experience or a curiosity to learn about M&A
