Job Summary

 

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Service Delivery team as ServiceNow Architect.  The Principal ServiceNow Solution Architect works on the most complex challenges and feature design on the ServiceNow platform. They have a leading role in developing the ServiceNow platform and product strategy and guide product delivery teams in solution design and implementation approaches that align to best practices. The Principal Solution Architect is considered the leading authority on technology solution design on the ServiceNow platform and associated products.
 

Responsibilities

 

  • Contribute to the ServiceNow platform roadmap and strategy.
  • Define and maintain the target architecture for the ServiceNow platform in alignment with strategy.
  • Define and enforce platform engineering and development standards.
  • Ensure product team design and implementation strategy is in alignment with target state architecture.
  • Review and evaluate demand for fit and alignment to products and identify complex features requiring additional due diligence.
  • Provide input to and sign off on solution design for complex features.
  • Manage ServiceNow code quality control processes and routines.
  • Educate and consult internal product teams on significant changes to ServiceNow applications in future major releases.
  • Support new ServiceNow platform tenant on-boarding.
  • Provide expertise in ServiceNow platform and integration design to meet business requirements.
  • Communicate technical aspects and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Evaluating ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules/applications & propose technical recommendations/solutions based on industry best practices.
  • Develops solutions that are well engineered, flexible, resilient, operable, maintainable, and can be delivered on schedule. Ensures a balance between tactical and strategic technology solutions.
  • Participate ongoing in updating the enterprise ServiceNow Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, SPM & ITOM.
  • Provides overall technical guidance for ServiceNow platform ensuring overall design complies with best practice, is upgradable and leverages out of box capabilities.
  • Creates and maintains a detailed view of existing architecture.
  • Designs and implements processes in ServiceNow, including but not limited to Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Service Portal, and ITOM.
  • Provides architectural controls and analysis of impacts for new requirements.
  •  Identifies opportunities to combine similar solution needs or consolidate existing platforms into the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Provides leadership and participates in vetting new requirements on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Ensures contractual service support requirements are implemented into ITSM tools and associated processes.
  • Creates business and technical design specifications for implementation of the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Reviews proposed design with all customer and internal stakeholders, and leads all technical design meetings.

 

Requirements

 

  • 2+ years as a ServiceNow architect.
  • 6+ years of ServiceNow development, design, or implementation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing on ServiceNow including IT Service Management, ITBM, ITOM, ITAM, HR and IT Security Operations.
  • 2+ years’ experience with CSDM. Demonstrated experience designing and building scoped applications to solve complex business processes.
  • Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders identifying and eliminating or reducing rote and mundane tasks using ServiceNow workflows.
  • Led 3+ implementations of new ServiceNow products or functionality on an instance.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 4 Managing Professional Certification with 5+ years of experience delivering solutions based on ITIL practices, or ITIL version 3 Expert certification.
  • ServiceNow certified Enterprise Architect, ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA), or certified ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect.
  • Proven experience as a lead technical resource in highly regulated environments.
