Position Overview


Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. The individual will own Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting for the corporate departments and will assist with the overall consolidation process.  Responsibilities include examining and improving processes, understanding and developing systems and tools, reporting and variance analysis, as well as managing and maintaining departmental, function and project budgets.


Key Responsibilities


  • Track performance against business objectives and provide detailed variance analysis versus budget and prior year
  • Support the department leaders to create forecasts and develop the annual budget
  • Prepare and process the monthly consolidated data upload to CRH
  • Work with FP&A leads on new report requests and modifications to existing standard reports; maintain reporting org structure and serve as an administrator for the Host Reporting System
  • Provide timely and effective cost tracking reports, insights, and analysis
  • Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to increase productivity that optimizes data
  • Ad hoc analyses as needed




  • BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • 2+ years of financial management and analytical experience, including financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and consolidation systems such as Hyperion Financial Management or Hyperion Planning preferred
  • Strong analytic skills, including ability to identify and quantify financial impact of opportunities with limited data
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work within a matrix organization
  • Team player with excellent inter-personal and oral/written communication skills
