Job Summary

This is a hybrid role that encompasses both Financial Systems and Financial Reporting responsibilities and contributions.   The ideal candidate has a fundamental understanding of accounting and financial reporting coupled with a technical aptitude and passion for financial systems.  This will be a high visibility role with a great deal of exposure and opportunity to drive our FSS (Financial Systems Support) function and growing business & reporting needs with ample opportunity to learn and acquire skills “on-the-job.”

Job Location

This is a hybrid position based in our Atlanta, GA office.

Job Responsibilities

• Month-end Reporting & System Support (50%): Prepare monthly consolidated financial reporting package for local management as well as data submission to CRH parent company.  Quarterly US GAAP and semi-annual IFRS data submission and related disclosures to CRH.
• Financial Data Reconciliation (25%): Compare high level ERP financial accounts to consolidation tool (DEPM) on a daily basis ensuring data is complete.  This includes identifying discrepancies between the systems, communicating those discrepancies, and partnering with IT & operational business partners on resolution.
• Process Improvement 10%: Continuous focus and passion for process improvement to streamlining data.
• Financial System Support (15%): Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions that support the organization's goals. The Analyst will support our operating company controllers & finance teams relying on our financial systems, as well as members from IT, FP&A, and Financial Reporting and System teams throughout APG and CRH.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in information technology, accounting or finance preferred
• 1+ year experience in financial business process, controls, reporting, financial systems, or related field
• Report writing exposure, Finance/Accounting/FP&A related work experience
• Preferred experience in M3, d/EPM, EPM, HFM or other consolidation tools and processes
• Understanding of Finance/Accounting, reporting, data movement and understanding consequences of system changes
• Understanding of SOX compliance
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to network and build relationships with individuals of various experience and corporate levels
