POSITION SUMMARY

 

Oldcastle Infrastructure (OI), as part of CRH’s Infrastructure Products Group (IPG), is a global manufacturing leader of utility infrastructure products.  Our goal is to be the most efficient producer of engineered systems and our customers’ strategic partner of choice. Enterprise Business Process Leaders have accountability for the global CRM/ERP design, user role definition, system validation, and implementation plan.  They will work with OI’s Systems Implementation consultants and other Process Leaders to coordinate interdependencies, find synergies, and ensure a scalable design that aligns with OI’s capabilities roadmap.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Own the overall business process design
    • Understand the OI’s business processes, challenges, and opportunities, so they are represented during the design workshops.
    • Work with business leaders to identify needed subject matter experts (SME’s)
    • Participate in workshop prep activities and scheduling
    • Participate in workshops and provide input based on expertise and experience
    • Review and approve key design decisions
    • Review and provide input for any system gaps leading to customization, and present them to the Change Control Board
    • Assist in designing security roles and security role testing
  • Work with other ERP program leaders to develop and execute the team plan
    • Attend daily standup (scrum) meetings for his/her process team
    • Review and approve/reject deliverables within the specified time. Coordinate with business SMEs to obtain information to approve/reject deliverables.
    • Participate and help resolve risks and issues related to their respective process areas
  • Own the system validation results
    • Assist team in identifying and developing end to end test scenarios and assist in identifying testers for System Integration Testing (SIT) testing
    • Identify data validators from the business for data validation
    • Review and accept/reject test results
  • Be a visible advocate for organizational change & sustainability
    • Assist organizational change management (OCM) team in identifying change agents and trainers in their process areas
    • Participate in and guide OCM activities e.g., change impacts, training
    • Advise data & analytics team on adoption metrics and management reports
    • Support design & implementation of steady-state governance and change management model
  • Design & implement “Lead to Order” Sales Force CPQ best practices, minimizing system customization while still achieving efficient ways of working.  Sub-processes may include:
    • Lead identification and qualification
    • Pricing and pricing build up for configured products
    • Sales inquiry & quotations, including make-to-order and configure-to-order products
    • Sales order management
    • Customer contract pricing
    • Fulfillment monitoring & available-to-promise processing
    • Engineering drawing output

 

REQUIRED SKILLS / EDUCATION

 

  • 10+ years of experience working in Lead to Order processes in a manufacturing industry
    • Sales
    • Demand Planning
    • Order Management
    • Customer Service
  • 3+ years leading complex projects that affect multiple functions, preferably using agile methodology
  • Hands-on experience in Sales Force or with part of another CRM implementation team
  • Process improvement knowledge gained while working in an organization undergoing a significant operational culture shift
    • Creation and improvement of processes that demonstrate ease of doing business internally and externally
    • Development and implementation of process adherence and data quality adoption metrics
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational influencing skills
    • Ability to communicate in a simple, articulate, thoughtful manner to varying audience levels
    • Innovative spirit to work cross-functionally in developing improvement ideas
    • A pleasant, likeable manner while accomplishing challenging results
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/related discipline
