Job Summary
This is a hybrid role and its purpose is to ensure effective collaboration across the organization by driving governance policies, enhancing adoption of collaboration tools, and optimizing resource utilization. They will work with the Head of Central Technology Services and wider team to manage change and the adoption of the global services (such as Collaboration, Identity Management and Endpoint Management) across the organization in alignment with business objectives. They will also develop and implement governance frameworks for central technology services, define policies related to data security, access controls, and compliance and monitor adherence to governance guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely reports on both financial and performance key performance indicators and ensure cost / outcomes are aligned with strategic and financial commitments. As required, produce regular updates on central technology services, clearly communicating status, risks and remediation plan to executive stakeholders.
- Create adoption plans to encourage usage of current and future tools in line with the central technology roadmap, to measure adoption metrics and adjust strategies as needed. Liaise with the Business Partners and relevant stakeholders across the regions / divisions to ensure effective coordination and alignment and conduct training sessions and workshops for end users.
- Mitigate resistance to change through effective communication. Address user concerns and provide support during transitions and projects. Work with local IT teams, relevant heads of function, and C-level executives, to align central technology collaboration strategies with business needs and provide updates on adoption progress.
- Identify opportunities to enhance central technology services, optimize license utilization and cost-effectiveness whilst collaborating with IT teams to improve service performance.
- Support the Head of Central Technology Services on the recharge management and process, with support from the Business Partners, such that budgets and costs can be effectively measured and monitored.
- Monitor license usage and optimize resource allocation, evaluate and analyze M365 investments and licensing agreements jointly with Procurement and Regional Software Asset Management functions.
- Ensure all audit topics are tracked and closed in a timely manner and the risk register is kept up to date, with risks tracked and updates provided to appropriate forums.
- Leverage adoption dashboards and surveys to assess application usage, adoption rates, and specific functionalities or use cases.
- Establish data governance practices (data quality, metadata management), promote adherence to data standards and best practices and collaborate with security and data teams at a Group, regional and local level as applicable.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft collaboration platforms and understanding of the associated governance and risk activities ensuring policies, processes are compliant and in line with security and data protection.
- Ability to influence and guide people through transitions, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to assess adoption metrics and adjust strategies accordingly, and to analyze data to optimize central technology services along with a strong understanding of change considerations.
- Demonstrable experience (8+ years in developing Technology governance & standards and overseeing the implementation & adoption in an organization of similar size and scale.
- Relevant 3rd level qualification, preferably at Masters’ level or alternatively have significant experiential knowledge to offset formal qualification.
- Certified / strong experience in change management / collaboration platforms.
