Position Summary


We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Infrastructure & Operations Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Oldcastle APG.


Candidate will need to provide day-to-day management and supervision of overall Enterprise Infrastructure personnel, involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations. Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all IT support activities and allocates resources as necessary. 



  • Provides comprehensive engineering, operations and maintenance support for the Infrastructure tool suite and other enterprise monitoring products. 
  • Support Day to Day Operations of the TOC and IT Service Center
  • Provide highly specialized technical advice concerning configuration and implementation of metric gathering methodology for monitoring IT facility equipment, applications and services.
  • Analyzes the metric, technical configurations and provides recommendations on the best alternatives. 
  • Provides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.
  • Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network, systems, and application performance. 
  • Troubleshoots network, systems, and application performance systems when necessary and provides recommendations to improve performance.
  • Have knowledge of best practices and lessons learned from large scale enterprise deployments
  • Work closely with various IT groups including but not limited to project management, database administration, network and security teams, application team and assist in overall architectural design, implementation and troubleshooting
  • Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) document for system administration activities and Implement best practices for key performance indicators (KPIs) 
  • Maintain operating systems and associated infrastructure software
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, is self-motivated and able to define, plan and implement long-term goals, tasks and projects
  • Day to day management and coordination of the Core team in Network, Storage, Switches, backups, routers, Firewalls, telephony and other key areas including production systems, test systems, resource management and project assignments 
  • Provide expertise in implementing, configuring and maintaining virtual environments 
  • Provide support and design solutions for cloud environments 
  • Mentor and complete performance reviews for direct reports on a continuous basis 
  • Meet expected quality of service on maintenance and deployment of upgrades, enhancements, and modifications to systems 
  • Participate with other functional areas to resolve production problems and initiate corrective actions 
  • Lead and oversee core operations team in identifying and resolving operational problems and interacting with vendor representatives to resolve and respond to service requests 
  • Promote and implement standards and procedures 
  • Work within the established change control processes and coordinate appropriate downtime activities with internal and external consumers 
  • Maintain and expand a comprehensive system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation 
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, efficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction 
  • Identify, assess, and present options for meeting functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates, refreshes or upgrades 
  • Assist in the creation of project and operating budgets

Position Requirements


Knowledge & Experience


  • Eight plus years in IT; with a minimum of two years of technical leadership and infrastructure development experience 
  • Cisco UCS, NetApp & Cisco Nexus Experience required
  • ServiceNow Experience Required
  • Managing SDWAN deployments and support 
  • Strong knowledge of networking and security concepts
  • Ability to develop a complete disaster recovery and system backup plan with the responsibility of producing and maintaining all system documentation
  • Experience of delivering services in a production environment following ITIL practices
  • Prior working knowledge and migration to Cloud (AWS, Azure etc.) a plus
