Oldcastle Infrastructure is looking for a service focused leader for our Enterprise Applications Analyst team.  This individual will be a hands-on, working leader with strong business acumen, outstanding problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of one or more business process areas, and the ability to manage others. The Lead Enterprise Applications Analyst will assist other application analysts with prioritizing work and provide process or technical guidance as needed. The Lead Enterprise Applications Analyst will leverage business process knowledge and technology acumen to manage software vendor relationships, perform application testing, and troubleshoot user reported issues.  He or she partners closely with business stakeholders and collaborates with other Information Technology teams to define and lead projects related to strategic applications, acquisition integration, and enhanced solution delivery. This role is a working leader who, as required, will provide hands on delivery of system configuration, set up, security, and improvements for Oldcastle Infrastructure’s application environments. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Team Leadership

 

  • Provide people leadership/management to a team of three to four application analysts under the supervision of the Manager, Enterprise Applications.

  • Perform performance reviews and hold regular feedback conversations with direct reports.

  • Ensure team members understand business processes and facilitate work in a timely, efficient manner to meet the needs of our stakeholders.

  • Hold team members accountable to follow all defined processes and procedures; collaborating with them to develop new procedures where needed. 

  • Prioritize the creation, storage, and organization of a system and team documentation knowledge base to ensure all solutions delivered are thoroughly understood, documented, and transitioned well to Application Support.

  • Drive the strategy, roadmap, execution and optimization of the enterprise application portfolio with a cloud first, vendor supported philosophy.

  • Partner with key business stakeholders on behalf of the Enterprise Applications team to deliver high quality strategic solutions that enable enterprise process efficiency, visibility, insights and structure.

  • Ensure the team appropriately executes project tollgate processes for all assigned initiatives.

  • Work closely with the SAP Center of Excellence, Technical Developers, and Integration Engineers to ensure integrations between key enterprise applications and SAP are designed, developed, and supported appropriately.

 

Applications Analyst

 

  • Support one or more core business process areas - such as Hire to Retire, Post to Close, Order to Cash, Plan to Produce, Procure to Pay or Lead to Quote - ensuring emphasis on expertise, accountability, and cross functional collaboration.

  • Ensure engagement of all relevant stakeholders and identification of requirements from both a system and process perspective for all assigned requests.

  • Demonstrate expertise with documenting both technical and business process flow diagrams using common toolsets such as Microsoft Visio or Lucid Chart.

  • Drive the functional design, technical design and implementation of solutions for an assigned portfolio of enterprise applications used in a specific process area.

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in enterprise applications, implementing any necessary operational or compliance controls.

  • Support and/or drive dashboarding in coordination with our Data & Analytics team to enable timely, action-oriented reporting.

  • Provide system or process solutioning, guidance and final sign-off for specific enhancements or projects assigned.

  • Develop and facilitate a framework for training users on existing and new applications.

 

Qualifications

 

Sufficient education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Education/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline.

  • At least 7+ years of increasingly responsible experience in IT Enterprise Application functional roles.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience administering a variety of enterprise applications.  Experience in one of more of the following applications preferred: Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Oracle JD Edwards, UKG UltiPro, UKG Workforce Dimensions, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur, Kofax, or OpenText.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, & Visio.

  • At least 2+ years experience with IT Service Management platforms; ServiceNow preferred.

  • 3+ years experience in a team leadership role.

  • Experience in a global, complex, multi-national manufacturing environment preferred.

  

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

 

  • Strong skills in relationship building among business stakeholders & colleagues.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt communication and key messages to the audience.

  • Excellent documentation skills are required including requirements, functional design or configuration, test scripts, and process flows.

  • Thorough understanding of IT processes specifically change management.

  • General understanding of project management. Formal project management experience or training is a plus.

  • Insightful and analytical contributor that provides valuable observations.

  • Problem solver with ability to breakdown complex situations and provide solutions.

  • Proactive contributor that can work in fast-paced, growing, and dynamic environment.

  • Advanced analytical, diagnostic, and technical skills.

  • Strong understanding of corporate business processes, including fundamental accounting and finance concepts, including forecasting, budget cycles and corporate reporting requirements preferred.

 

Work and Physical Requirements

 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

 

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Preferred office location for this position is Oldcastle Infrastructure’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

  • Work from home potential of up to 40% per week.

  • Ability to travel (overnight) as required based on business needs up to 20%, depending on projects and business needs.

  • Ability to drive up to 4 hours for onsite services and meetings.

  • Must pass background check, alcohol and drug testing.

  • The position may require work outside of normal business hours in response to critical incidents or business-impacting project deliverables.

 

Work Environment

 

Normal office working conditions in addition to industrial plant sites, requiring the usage of personal protective equipment, e.g. hard hat, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses.
