Job Description Summary


Oldcastle Infrastructure is looking for a service focused individual with strong expertise in cloud-based enterprise software platforms, excellent business acumen, and outstanding problem-solving skills to join our team as Manager of Enterprise Applications.  The Manager, Enterprise Applications, provides hands on leadership to a team of Enterprise Application Analysts to deliver improvements to Oldcastle Infrastructure’s business processes and applications. In addition, the manager provides working expertise and guidance in the trenches for business process alignment, configuration of application functionality, application security support, managing the software vendor relationship, testing of cloud application updates, and troubleshooting user reported issues.  He or she partners closely with strategic business stakeholders and other Information Technology teams to define and lead projects related to program change, acquisition integration, and enhanced solution delivery.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Hands on leader working alongside team to determine business requirements, design appropriate solutions, and configure cloud-based software to meet the business goals.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to ensure proper alignment of software solutions to business goals and processes.
  • Manage system & software integration projects to connect cloud/non-ERP platforms to the common company ERP.
  • Provide functional leadership for acquisition and divestiture activities impacting the business applications.
  • Establish standards, methodologies and documentation for software configuration and integrations.  Work with IT Governance to ensure methodologies, operating policies & procedures, and technology standards follow architectural guidelines. 
  • Continuously refine the appropriate organizational structure to support business use of the software landscape.  Leverage both internal resources and outsourced resources to facilitate solution delivery.
  • In coordination with Director, Business Solutions, create & monitor team financial budget to actuals while ensuring appropriate allocation of our greatest company asset – our people.
  • Directly manage software and consulting vendors as appropriate including contract review, negotiations, work execution and quality management.
  • In coordination with IT PMO, manage the portfolio of projects assigned to your team and play an active leadership role in ensuring budget, time, quality, and value creation expectations.
  • Assist in review and analysis of existing legacy business applications (application functionality, maintainability, and operational effectiveness), then develop an appropriate roadmap strategy for replacement with scalable, global, enterprise solutions.


Required Skills/Education


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or similar technical discipline
  • 7+ years of large enterprise experience implementing and maintaining cloud or on premise enterprise applications (Salesforce, Coupa, UKG Pro, High Radius, Kofax, Dynamics AX, NetSuite, Microfocus HP ALM, and/or JDE preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience managing the implementation, integration and operations of enterprise level applications in a variety of technology footprints.
  • Experience in a global, multi-national manufacturing environment preferred.
