Job Summary

 

The Manager of Transformation and Controls is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations that support acquisitions & integrations, audit controls, and reporting. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing the company's internal control environment, governance, and risk management practices by owning all SOP updates for SOX requirements. This position is responsible for spearheading all acquisition and integration into the Financial Shared Service Dept. You will work closely with other Financial Shared Service business owners. A successful candidate will also spearhead all audit requests within Financial Shared Services by acting as a project lead in coordinating efforts and deadlines. This position will also be responsible for financial reporting required by the Director of Financial Shared Services. A successful candidate will approach this job with a project manager mindset.

 

Job Duties

 

  • Own the playbook for acquisitions and integrations, while working with other business owners within Financial Shared Services to keep updated and on task.
  • Work closely with the MDM team to review data before integrations into SAP
  • Work closely with AP and AR managers to prepare the ledgers for a clean integration from current ERP to new ERP (SAP 4/Hana)
  • Work with Corporate M&A team to manage integrations for Financial Shared Services  
  • Responsible for some of the Financial Reporting both weekly and monthly reports
  • Spearhead Month end close process
  • Liaison between internal / external audit requests and Financial Shared Service business owners
  • Document and own all SOPs for Financial Shared Services
  • Assis in other duties that support Financial Shared Services when needed by the Director of Financial Shared Services
  • Support various projects for both Directors and Managers for Financial Shared Services when needed

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • 10 + years of related experience in B2B
  • Be able to Self-Manage
  • Analytical expertise with attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to maintain accuracy in a very detailed work environment, highly detail oriented
  • Proficient in PC skills, accounting software, Internet-based programs, MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of some AP and AR
  • Experience in a Shared Service environment
  • Organized and ability to multitask
  • Sound understanding of basic financial concepts and accounting principles
  • Project Management type approach
