Position Overview

CRH is implementing SAP S/4 HANA Private Cloud and as part of the implementation, CRH is searching for a talented SAP S/4 Technical Delivery Manager.

 

This position will provide technical expertise on both the software and architecture including but not limited to managing custom RICEFW deliverables, managing basis and security as well as change management as needed for the implementation. You will play a key role in promoting enterprise standards in these areas.

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in SAP S/4 HANA, including Fiori components, BTP and other related SAP components.

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) 

  • Providing technical expertise and advice on SAP architecture and making recommendations to improve performance.
  • Drives technical design for SAP system landscape in alignment with project requirements.
  • Directs on solutions for: network connectivity, security set up, data conversion, data migration and validation.
  • Define and promote SAP technical standards and strategies. Manage technical architecture analysis, design, build, test and deploy for Development, Execution, Operations & Infrastructure Architecture.
  • Works closely with SAP and SI to ensure optimal systems design for the SAP enterprise.
  • Making recommendations on strategic direction and roadmap for the use and implementation of SAP applications, as well as integrated third-party systems.
  • Coordinates regular meetings with SAP SDMs for RISE, BTP and Success Factors and includes SI/AMS resources as appropriate.
  • Advise on technical approach for all systems integrating to SAP, whilst also conducting due diligence and business assessments.
  • Understanding of SAP’s product strategy and roadmap, including positioning of S/4 HANA and enabling tools and complementary technologies.
  • Oversees SAP change requests and supporting documentation to ensure compliance to SOX requirements.

Education/ Experience

  • Work Experience: 15+ working experience in SAP Technical/Architect Roles
  • Education: Bachelor's/University Degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge/ Skill Requirements

  • Experience with SAP Basis, ABAP, Fiori, Security, BTP.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 Enterprise Cloud Services and RISE.
  • 15+ years of experience in designing and implementing SAP technical solutions to align technology with business needs.
  • Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of:
    • systems integration methodology and design (SAP to SAP and SAP to non-SAP applications)
    • data migration strategies
    • application architecture
  • Experience with 3rd Party system integrations for SD, MDM, procurement, and reporting (Salesforce, Informatica, Coupa, Apex, etc.)
  • Experience with prioritizing individual and group tasks to meet conflicting demands.
  • Experience supervising contract personal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and adapt in an ever-changing environment to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Customer Service mind set.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience in managing customer expectations and building relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
