Job Summary

 

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be part of the Corporate Accounting & Finance team and act as a key business partner to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Technology Leadership Team (TLT). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proactive and analytical mindset that enjoys a challenging and fast-paced environment. You will own all aspects of IT spend from monthly close and reporting to budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure tracking. This is a highly visible role within the organization, ideal for someone with strong IT acumen and a passion for tracking, reporting, and analyzing IT spend.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Atlanta, GA Corporate office.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for monthly financial close, including preparing and posting journal entries, determining necessary accruals, reconciliations, and adhering to SOX controls.
  • Analysis and review of monthly balance sheet movements and preparation of selected account reconciliations.
  • Prepare the monthly management reporting.
  • Review of corporate financial results for accuracy & reasonableness including reporting and analysis of monthly financial variances.
  •  Track capital expenditures and manage project accounting and labor utilization analysis.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau, advanced Excel to build dashboards, models, and reports.
  • Ability to model and forecast anticipated expenditure.
  • Support the budget & forecast process for select departments, including preparation of annual budgets for the corporate group, as well as updates throughout the year. Provide insight during implementation of system tools.
  • Identify and implement new capabilities to improve processes.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Prior experience in IT Finance strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, Capex, and corporate finance principles.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a drive for automation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (V-Lookups, X-Lookups, Power Query and Pivot Tables), competency with financial systems and tools – M3 and Blackline experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to executive management audiences.
  • Demonstrated team player, comfortable in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures.
