Position Overview

 

CRH Americas Materials is seeking a highly experienced change manager to lead People Readiness and Adoption for our multi-year enterprise-wide implementation.  This leader will lead the change management and change network for our planned SAP implementations and be accountable for planning, development and delivery of work areas/products listed below: 

 

Key Responsibilities


 
Change Management for End-to-End Valuestreams

 

  • Leadership and Coordination of Embedded Change Leads: Manage and coordinate the end-to-end embedded change leads, providing weekly guidance and support on key activities and deliverables to ensure alignment with the overall change management strategy and project objectives.  These include stakeholder identification and analysis, change impact assessments, change activities, change readiness assessments and adoption metrics.
  • Collaboration with Valuestreams (End to End Process Teams): Collaborate closely with valuestreams and business units, facilitating the execution of critical readiness activities and ensuring that business needs are effectively addressed throughout the change process.
  • Monitoring and Reporting on Adoption Progress: Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to monitor the progress of business readiness and adoption initiatives, providing regular updates to project leadership on key milestones, challenges, and successes, while making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Team Oversight and Execution: Manage day-to-day activities of Valuestream Embedded Change Leads, driving accountability and operational excellence throughout the change program.
  • Perform hands-on delivery work, including analysis, design, process engineering, and change management, as needed by the project.  Collaborate with consultant resources to ensure alignment with strategy and plan, as well as CRH policies and branding.

Change Network 

 

  • Mobilize and Lead Change Champions: Strategically activate and guide a network of change champions, ensuring they effectively support end users through the change curve with the right tools and resources.
  •  Spearhead Change Network Activities: Take ownership of all engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing business change adoption, actively involving change agents, leadership, and end users to drive a culture of acceptance and support
  • Act as a Liaison for Change Champions: Serve as the primary point of contact for change champions, offering guidance and support as they assist end users in navigating the SAP implementation process
  • Manage Change Network Trainer Readiness: Oversee Train-the-Trainer (TTT) preparation and sessions to prepare trainers for effective delivery and ensure adherence to program standards. Confirm trainer assignments and manage onboarding to ensure readiness for program delivery.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in change management or organizational development.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale organizational change initiatives.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
  • Must be willing to travel 50% or more of the time (unless located in Atlanta, GA).
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Proficiency in project management and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) preferred.

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Able to communicate with others by telephone and in person.
  • Able to utilize a computer for word processing, email communication, and preparation of documents and presentations.
  • May require sitting for extended periods of time. 

 

Work Environment

 

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
  • The position may require work outside of normal business hours.
  • The position may require up to 50% travel.
