Job Summary
The Trade Show Coordinator Intern supports the Marketing team in the tactical planning and execution of trade shows and live events. This role provides hands-on experience in event logistics, vendor coordination, asset and inventory management, and budget tracking across projects of varying size and complexity. The intern will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.
This position is expected to start in person around May 2026 and continue through the entire summer term (i.e. through August 2026). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, onsite for most internships.
Job Location
- This is an onsite position located in Atlanta, GA.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the tactical execution of trade shows and marketing events
- Coordinate deliveries, shipments, and on-site logistics for event materials
- Assist with asset management, including tracking, storage, and inventory of trade show assets
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to support event readiness and execution
- Track budgets, invoices, and expenses related to trade shows and events
- Support projects of varying size and scope, managing multiple timelines and priorities
- Maintain event documentation, timelines, and execution checklists
Job Requirements
- Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; farmiliarity with project management tools is a plus
- Interest in marketing events, trade shows, and experimental marketing
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented enviornment
Compensation
- The hourly pay rate is $25/hr
