Under the direction of the Regional DOT Fleet Compliance Manager, Texas Materials, Ready Mix Concrete, the DOT Compliance Coordinator, will be responsible for DOT fleet compliance activities for ready mix operating company to ensure compliance with all local, federal and state laws and regulations along with company
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions)
Run initial MVR, CDLIS.
Maintain and update all Driver Qualification files on a regular basis, collect any missing documentation.
Monitor CSA scores and report any significant changes.
Maintain warnings and citations.
Maintain an accident register for local Operating Company.
Run annual reports on all drivers and confirm drivers are in compliance, MVRs, Clearinghouse.
Upload all annual reports to portal.
Set up and maintain all driver physicals.
Send physicals to TXDPS.
Scan and upload physicals to portal.
Maintain overweight permits.
Update and maintain driver list.
Random Drug Testing for local clinic.
Communicate with supervisors as needed.
Maintain Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office and the ability to rapidly learn different software applications.
Strong communication skills are necessary.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing schedules and projects
Strong ability to research regulatory rules and regulations
Work Environment
Will work in office environment
Education/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
FMCSA knowledge is a plus.
Computer knowledgeable i.e. Excel, Office 365
Strong organization skills.
Communication skills
