Job Description Summary
 

• Produce wood forms and styrofoam blockouts for concrete production using a wide variety of machinery including but not limited to: table saws, radial saws, and staple guns
• Read shop / engineering drawings and constructs forms per those specifications
• Move and assemble forms at pouring sites
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety regulations on the shop floor
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Required Skills
 

• Must have carpentry experience, at least 5 years is preferred
• Physical examination required
• Must be able to read and interpret shop / engineering drawings
• Must be proficient with all tools mentioned in job description summary
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members
• Able to understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division)
• Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure
• Good attendance and positive attitude a must
• Must be a self-starter and good at managing time efficiently
• Hours will vary based on production with a start time; this position requires flexibility to work longer shifts, as needed
• Potential for overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required
