Job Summary

  • Provide exemplary customer service to co-workers while working in a team environment
  • Encompass best practices in all aspects of safety policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all corporate safety policies while operating company machinery
  • Maintain IG robot for production requirements while ensuring seal quality is met


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Become part of the team by communicating positively with lead-hand, co-workers, and supervisor
  • Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition
  • Loading and unloading glass will require crane and robot operation
  • Review line requirements to ensure correct nozzle specifications are on the robot for size and dimension type
  • Review insulated unit for seal quality and place a secondary seal on the unit if required via machine operation to uphold compliance standards
  • Read tags on completed glass and place on distribution dolly based on tag location requirements
  • Select the appropriate tagged glass and load onto dolly by size and dimension to ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Use appropriate glass separators for glass type to maintain quality control
  • Communicate dolly completion and move throughout the plant as required
  • Responsible for performance of mandated provisional standard on robot and safety compliance
  • Responsible for proper disposal of broken glass and general housekeeping within the department
  • Adhoc requests throughout the plant as required



  • Positive attitude with customer service orientation
  • Responsive to change in priorities and immediate demands
  • Possess mechanical aptitude
  • Would prefer one or more years of manufacturing experience; but will provide training for the right candidate
  • Maximum manual lifting requirement of up to 75 lbs
  • Will provide all training as required


Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to consistently lift up to 75 lbs at plant location
  • Be able to maintain composure in a continuously changing environment
  • Be able to remain in an upright position for long periods of time
  • Daily and/or weekly overtime required, not to exceed statutory legislation
